Additional Car Service Treatments

Wheel Alignment & Tracking

Have you noticed problems with your car like dragging, steering wheel vibrations or uneven tyre wear and tear? These are problems that can be caused by wheel misalignment and can affect the performance, comfort and fuel economy of your car.

You can book a wheel alignment and wheel tracking service with your next car service and we'll measure the angles of your wheels and correct any misalignment back to manufacturer specification using laser precision.

Engine Coolant Change

Engine coolant is used to regulate the temperature of the engine to prevent overheating and contains antifreeze to also help the engine function in cold weather. Engine coolant should be replaced every 30,000 miles to prevent engine corrosion as the fluid is contaminated.

Our engine coolant change service will first drain old coolant from your car before replacing with fresh coolant that has been recommended by your vehicle's manufacturer. This will protect the performance, safety and environmental standards of your car.

Brake Fluid Change

Brake fluid provides hydraulic pressure to the braking system. Overtime moisture can build up within the fluid that leads to the increased corrosion of brake parts.

A brake fluid change is recommended every two years for your car. As part of our car service we'll test the boiling point of your brake fluid which is necessary to ensure it can operate under high pressure. When we change your brake fluid we'll always use a manufacturer recommended replacement product.

Air Conditioning Service

Over time air conditioning can loose it's refrigerant gas that is used to regulate temperatures inside the car and demist windows. An air conditioning service includes a full system re-gas with fresh new refrigerants, a bacterial cleanse and a 32-point vehicle health check.

If you've noticed your air conditioning system has lost performance, omits odours or aggravates allergies when turned on, it may need servicing to sanitise and re-gas the system. All air-con servicing is carried out ay an ATA approved vehicle technician.

Air Conditioning Bacterial Cleanse

Your car's air conditioning system can collect moisture and particles of dust on the filters and evaporators that can cause bacteria to build up. As a result you may notice unpleasant odours or poor air quality from your air conditioning.

Our air conditioning bacterial cleanse will sanitise the evaporators in your air conditioning system. We circulate an anti-bacterial mist through the system to kill bacteria and remove odours.

Engine Flush & Fuel Treatment

Engine oil ways and sumps can become blocked with deposits of old oil and requires surfactants to thin out and remove from your car. An engine flush will drain old oil from your car and use detergent to clean oil ways and remove left over residue.

Fuel treatment is also available for petrol and diesel engines to remove old resin and residues from fuel injectors, chambers and valves. Fuel treatment can help reduce engine noise and exhaust fumes, while protecting the engine from corrosion.

Information on Car Servicing

  • Car Service FAQs

    What is a car service?

A car service is a series of routine checks that are recommended for your car every year. Servicing helps keep your carry problem-free by checking and replacing parts before they falter or break, which can cause more expensive problems in the future. Most importantly, a car service keeps your vehicle safe for you and your family to use.

How often should you service your car?

It's recommended your car receives a service every 12 months or every 12,000 miles. This so we can replace parts of your car the should be changed regularly. Parts like engine filters and spark plugs deteriorate over time and affect how your car runs if they're overused and not changed. We recommend our Gold Service every 12,000 miles and our Platinum Service every 24,000. If you follow this schedule or the recommended schedule of your manufacturer, you'll maximise the performance and safety of your car.

How long does a car service take?

Car services take between 3 and 5 hours to complete. You can choose to wait with us at the garage and enjoy our comfortable waiting rooms with complimentary refreshments. We can also arrange a collection service for your car or a temporary vehicle for when your car is with us in the garage. Ask our customer service team for further information.

What should I bring to my car service?

You'll need to bring your service logbook so we can stamp it once we've completed the car service. Please also make sure that all wheel nut keys are present inside the car for the vehicle-technicians to use.
