Find out more about the New Honda Range

The story of the Honda brand is an uplifting one. It all started with a young boy in Japan who had a passion for cars. Soichiro Honda worked in his friend's garage tuning cars and entering them for races before founding Honda in October 1946.

Seeing the possibilities that mobility opened up, Soichiro Honda set out to bring this mobility to the masses. The brand started out as the Honda Technical Research Institute. The first product produced by Honda were motorbikes, with the first new Honda car not released until 1964. However, since then, the Honda brand has soared worldwide to become one of the most recognised names in the industry. They still stay true to their original intention to realise ‘the power of dreams’ and are known for expanding possibilities and challenging boundaries within the industry to move society forward.

One of Honda’s greatest successes is the Honda Civic. It was produced in 1979 as a two-door coupe, and after the triumph of the original, Honda built on it. Today, it’s one of the world’s best-selling cars; with better handling, more aggressive power and enhanced aerodynamics, the Civic is the car that serious drivers want to drive.

Other notable models in the Honda line-up include the nippy and compact Jazz. It has the handling of a class-leading supermini with all the practicality of a much bigger vehicle, which makes it an ideal family car for town and city dwellers.

There are also two SUVs in the Honda line-up. The Honda HR-V is a small SUV that offers great flexibility. While the new Honda CR-V is available with seven seats so there is plenty of room for the entire family and some!
