Applying for car finance for military personnel

If you've been deemed eligible for car finance, you'll then be connected with a dedicated finance coordinator to help you through the rest of the process.
Initially, you'll not be required to offer any physical confirmations of your details; however, once you have agreed to finalise your application, you will need the following documents:
- Proof of ID - such as a driving licence, passport or a MOD 90
- Proof of income - like a bank statement or wage slip
Even if you are a new recruit and on NERP (new entrant rate of pay) status, you can still apply for Military car finance. You just need to advise the lender at the time of application.
Military car finance & bad credit
One aspect that can make it harder for military personnel to get accepted for car finance is a position of bad credit.
