This payment is a one-off, so you should have already received this payment if you have taken delivery since it was introduced.
Those who received £250 from the previous New Vehicle Payment, you should have received an additional £500 by March 31 2023.
Receiving Payment
The quickest way to get your New Vehicle Payment is via bank transfer - this can be done easily if you add your bank details to your Motability Scheme online account.
With this in place, the payment will be sent directly to you within a few days of your vehicle’s delivery.
In the instance the Motability Scheme does not have your bank details, then a cheque will be sent to you instead, which can take up to two weeks to arrive.
