The 2023 facelift introduced the SE and Trophy trims to replace the earlier specs, bringing a major front and rear styling update while retaining a 10.1-inch touchscreen.
The second-generation HS launched in 2024, also available in SE and Trophy trims. This newer model features a completely updated body and cabin, increased interior space, and twin 12.3-inch displays.
Manual or Automatic MG HS?
You can find a used MG HS with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine.
Pair this engine with a six-speed manual gearbox for more direct control over gear changes. Choose the seven-speed automatic transmission and remove the need to change gears manually. This is particularly helpful in stop-start traffic.
Engine output varies slightly depending on the generation. The 2023 facelift produced 160bhp, while the second-generation petrol model increased to 167bhp.
