Available in two engine sizes, a second-hand Toyota Hilux comes with either a 2.4-litre or 2.8-litre diesel engine. For towing, the 2.8-litre engine is preferable, delivering 295lb ft of torque which makes light work of a fully loaded trailer. A mild hybrid system is also available on 2.8-litre automatic Invincible and Invincible X Double Cab models.
