Polestar 5 is an electric Grand Tourer with refined comfort and capability. It delivers extended range, rapid charging and instant acceleration.
As the Launch Edition, Polestar 5 comes in two trims: Dual Motor for a balance of output and range, and Performance for added power and equipment as standard.

Polestar 5 Performance
Polestar 5 is the purest expression of Polestar. The Dual Motor delivers up to 737bhp and 0–60mph in 3.8secs, while the Performance delivers up to 871bhp and 0–60mph in 3.1secs.
Built on a fully electric platform and Polestar Performance Architecture, it combines balanced weight distribution with an aerodynamically designed chassis and precision-tuned suspension.
Smooth glazing, a sweeping roofline and active grille shutters enhance efficiency. Performance upgrades include MagneRide dampers, forged wheels and Brembo brakes in Swedish Gold.

Battery, Range, and Charging
As an electric car, Polestar 5 runs on an 800-volt architecture with active lower grille shutters to enhance thermal efficiency. The Polestar PX2 rear motor delivers refined performance.
The Dual Motor offers up to 421 miles of range, while the Performance offers up to 346 miles, prioritising power, speed and torque. Both deliver the range you need for long-distance driving.
Spend more time on the road and less time charging. DC fast charging at 350 kW powers you from 10–80% in around 22mins, while AC charging at 11 kW takes around 11hrs for full charge.
A charging status indicator sits behind each rear side window and lights up to show real-time progress. You can also monitor battery status, range, and plan routes through the Polestar app.
Polestar 5 Interior
Polestar 5 seats up to five adults, offering 365 litres of boot space and 62 litres in the front compartment. The interior features a minimalist design with carefully selected materials.
Choose from repurposed aluminium or black ash deco for a wood effect, and upholstery to suit your style. Recaro seats support dynamic driving, with a carbon-fibre alternative on seat backs.
The folding rear armrest adds comfort and convenience. Depending on trim, it includes controls for rear climate, heating, ventilation and massage, along with cupholders and in-car storage.
While there is no rear window, a panoramic roof extends above the rear passengers' heads, enhancing the sense of space and allowing the rear seats to recline for added comfort.
Polestar 5 Technology
In-house development extends to Polestar 5 technology, with an Android Automotive Operating System (AAOS) and the Polestar app providing digital key access and personalised driver profiles.
Inside, you'll find a 9.0-inch driver display and head-up display, plus a rear-view mirror with a wider view, keeping key information in sight. The system positions everything for focus and control.
What’s more, a 14.5-inch touchscreen features Google built-in, including Maps, Assistant and Home integration, with hundreds of apps available to download through the Play Store.
Polestar 5 Safety
Polestar 5 combines a mid-range radar, 11 exterior cameras and 12 ultrasonic sensors to monitor surroundings, while its computer analyses road conditions in real time to help prevent accidents.
Pilot Assist combines Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Change Assist, Lane Departure Prevention and Blind Spot Information with Steer Assist, providing hands-on driving support up to 90mph.
For parking, Polestar 5 features a 360-degree camera with a 3D view, Cross Traffic Alert with brake support, and Exit Assist with visual and audible warnings for approaching rear traffic.
Preventive safety includes driver monitoring and front and rear-end collision avoidance, while high-strength aluminium forms a safety cage, supported by airbags and battery protection.
