Toyota Hilux Electric for Business
The new Toyota Hilux Electric is a four-door pick-up with five seats and an all-electric battery. This vehicle comes with an open-top load bed and is perfect for bulky loads, with extra space inside the cabin for crew or suitable work equipment.
The pick-up comes with permanent all-wheel drive (AWD) for better traction on wet or uneven surfaces common on rural roads.
With a Payload up to 715kg and extra towing capacity of up to 1,700kg it’s a practical pick-up that can fit tools and awkward equipment, with the versatility to carry more if needed.
Available in two trims: The Icon and Invincible, with meaningful upgrades in convenience and comfort, with both pickups carrying the same battery producing 0g/km tailpipe CO2.

Electric Range for the Working Day
With a 159-mile WLTP combined electric range for typical daily driving, a predictable drive to site, and regular charging, this pick-up can be a useful zero-tailpipe-emission vehicle for the working day.
The Toyota Hilux Electric can also get up to 236 miles WLTP City, so stop-and-start driving in urban areas can get you further when you need to drive between jobs through towns and cities.
Both trims use the 59.2kWh battery, but range can be affected by vehicle load, weather, and driving style, which can all impact real-world energy use.

Charging Around the Workday
On a 10kW AC wall box charger, the Hilux Electric can charge from 10-100% in around 6.5 hours, so a full overnight charge could get you a full battery for the following workday.
The Hilux Electric also offers DC charging up to 125kW for rapid public charging on the go. If charging during lunch or needing a stop between jobs, the DC chargers can charge from 10-80% in approximately 30 minutes.
You can also utilise Smart charging for lower-cost off-peak electricity and to align with shift start and finish times.

Payload, Load Bed & Flexible Dry Storage
Up to 715kg payload | 1,555mm long load bed | 60:40 tip-up rear bench | 5 seats as standard
The 715kg payload available in the Icon Trim (710kg in the Invincible trim) is spread out across the load bed and inside the cabin. Either with people or the 60:40 tip-up rear bench gives flexible storage options so you can have extra crew and space for protected tools and equipment that would benefit from being inside the cabin.

Towing, AWD & Workspace Capability
With up to 1,700kg braked towing for appropriately attached trailers to add extra load on busy days.
The Permanent AWD supports traction on wet and uneven roads, and off-road options are perfectly suitable for difficult worksite access, including:
Multi-Terrain Select, which offers control modes for rock, sand, mud and Mogul surfaces, which adjust the drive torque and braking to help maintain progress on different surfaces.
Downhill Assist Control, which helps regulate the steeper descents so the driver can focus on steering.
700mm wading depth gives the Hilux Electric the ability to traverse under specified conditions, and the 212mm ground clearance gives a clearer guideline for tackling rough access routes and uneven surfaces.

Cab Comfort for All-Weather
Heated front seats and steering wheel are added to standard heating functions so cold starts and trips between jobs in winter warm you up, all powered by a heat-pump climate system, an efficient alternative to resistive heating for better EV energy management.
Dual-zone climate control means the driver and passengers can set the temperature to how they like it for a more personalised feel.
Upgrading to the Invincible trim adds extra comfort like leather upholstery and a power driver’s seat for quicker driving positioning, perfect for a pickup that uses multiple drivers.
