The new Ford Transit Custom is here - as Britain’s best-selling vehicle, the new Ford Transit Custom continues to be a flexible and durable asset to you and your business, albeit in its most modern interpretation yet.
Available as a panel van initially, the new Ford Transit Custom will expand its range to offer various iterations and give you plenty of options in the commercial vehicle space.
Not only that, but there is an all-electric version on its way, giving you zero-emission driving whilst keeping the new Ford Transit Custom and its range of abilities intact.

In its panel van guise, the new Ford Transit Custom offers greater ergonomics and overall design, thanks in large to its improved proportions and such aspects as a lower step-in height for cabin entry and convenient slide-over access across the width of the front seats.
Not only that, but in its H1 form, the new Ford Transit Custom offers a sub 2.0-metre height, giving you easier access to shallower entry points.
Extra options to make the job easier include a power side load doors for hands-free opening and a load-through bulkhead.
In its biggest form (H1 320 L2), the new Ford Transit Custom offers a loadspace length of 3,002mm, a capacity of 6.8m³ and a payload of 1,284.5 kg. With one height available from launch, the new Ford Transit Custom gives you 1,405mm total loadspace height.

As the most contemporary version of the new Ford Transit Custom to date, you’ll find a raft of options to make your life and work easier each and every day thanks to the range of tech available.
First and foremost, you can treat your new Ford Transit Custom like a mobile office, with such features as Ford SYNC 4 delivering enhanced connectivity that’s powered by a new 5G modem. SYNC 4 brings you seamless smartphone integration and a 13-in touchscreen to operate what you need, from media to navigation.
The connectivity doesn’t stop there, as Ford Pro Telematics can help you to be as efficient and data-driven as possible.
Meanwhile, the ‘invisible’ aids of the new Ford Transit Custom are also there to make your day more productive, such as the Delivery Assist feature that puts the brakes and hazard lights on, turns the engine off, and secures the van as a whole whilst you do what you need to do.

At launch, the new Ford Transit Custom will be powered by a 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel engine available with various power outputs and two transmission types, as well as the option of AWD for automatic versions.
However, much more is to come when it comes to drivetrains, starting with a plug-in hybrid option that mates a 2.5-litre petrol engine to a 11.8kWh battery to give up to 35 miles of electric-only range, as well as just 32g/km of CO2 emissions.
Beyond that, just like its bigger stablemate, the new Ford Transit Custom will gain an all-electric version that will be able to achieve between 171-236 miles on a full charge. There will be 100kW and 160kW options available, complete with 125kW DC fast charging and a 11 kW AC onboard charger.
