Electric range built for everyday life

The 55.4kWh of usable battery capacity and 275 miles of WLTP electric-only range on a single charge, the Astra Sports Tourer Electric is suitable for everyday driving, with the ability to go further if needed.

Using a 156PS drivetrain with 270Nm of torque, the Astra Sports Tourer Electric can reach 0-62mph in 9.5 seconds, giving useful performance for everyday driving and motorway journeys.

Three regenerative braking levels let you vary how strongly the car slows when you lift off. The system recovers energy during deceleration and feeds it back into the battery, helping support efficient electric driving.

A standard heat pump has also been added to reduce the amount of energy the battery uses when heating the cabin, and battery preconditioning helps bring the battery towards a suitable temperature before rapid charging, which can support charging performance in colder conditions.

Charging that fits around you

The new Vauxhall Astra Sports Tourer Electric has an 11kW onboard charger as standard, so charging at home can give you 20-80% in around 3 hours and 20 mins on a suitable 11kW supply. The 7kW supply is still usable and can reach 20-80% in around 8 hours.

Charging on-the-go is straightforward with the 100kW DC chargers reaching 20-80% in just 32 minutes, so a quick stop for a coffee could give you the charge you need to continue your journey.

The new Astra Sports Tourer Electric also offers delayed charging so you can start charging off-peak to save yourself even more money.

Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) lets the car's traction battery supply power to compatible external devices, such as an e-bike, giving the battery another practical use when you're away from another power source.

Everyday practicality with room to adapt

Practicality is where the Astra Sports Tourer Electric shines. Boot space starts at 516 litres, enough for a family's luggage or a full weekly shop without stacking bags on the back seat. The 40:20:40 split rear bench lets you drop one, two or all three sections, so you can carry long items like flat-pack furniture or skis while still seating two passengers in comfort. Fold the seats flat, and you have 1,553 litres to work with, which covers tip runs, bike frames and moving days.

The roof rails add extra flexibility, with you being able to add suitable roof-mounted accessories.

Go for the Ultimate trim, and the new Sports Tourer Electric adds powered opening and closing, convenient when loading shopping with your hands full of shopping bags.

Comfort that supports everyday use

Comfort has had an upgrade with the 2026 Vauxhall Astra Sports Tourer Electric. The Intelli-seats have been designed to reduce pressure around the tailbone, making longer journeys more comfortable, alongside an AGR-certified driver’s seat, which is an eight-way adjustable seat that helps a wider range of drivers find a supportive position.

It doesn’t stop there, with heated front seats and steering wheel for more comfortable winters, especially on frosty school mornings.

The Astra Sports Tourer Electric has also retained its physical controls for key functions for a more familiar interface, with sound and temperature being controlled in the same way they always have with cars rather than relying on a touchscreen menu.

Upgrading to GS gives you sportier seats, dual-zone climate control so no one's arguing over the temperature, and ambient lighting for a more personal touch in the cabin.

Upgrade to the Ultimate and get recycled upholstery with ReNewKnit; alongside this, AGR seats for the passenger, alongside a massage control for the front seats. The Ultimate also includes powered driver memory, so each driver has personalised driver seat settings without needing to adjust every time you get in.

Connected tech without the clutter

The centre console features two 10.0-inch displays: the central touchscreen, which features maps, music, and compatible phone apps, all connected through wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, or the integrated route guidance.

The central touchscreen also gives you useful Electric-specific information. A power-flow display shows how energy is being used, while consumption statistics help you understand average energy use over time.

The 10-inch driver display clearly displays core information like speed behind the steering wheel.

Upgrading to the Ultimate trim gives you the Intelli-HUD; this projects key information into the driver’s forward view, so there is no need to look down at the driver display.

Safety support Where It Matters

Driver assistance on the Astra Sports Tourer Electric is built around everyday driving rather than headline features. Standard systems include:

Automatic emergency braking, which monitors developing collision situations and can apply the brakes if you do not react in time

Lane support and driver attention warning, which help you hold your lane and prompt you when signs of tiredness appear

Traffic-sign recognition, keeping the current limit in view without you looking for the next sign

Adaptive cruise control, which adjusts your speed to the traffic ahead within the system's limits

Front and rear parking sensors, genuinely useful when driving an estate car

Together they take some of the effort out of long motorway runs, though you always remain in control and responsible.

GS trim adds a 180-degree rear camera for a wider view behind you than sensors alone can offer. It is extra visual information when reversing, not a substitute for looking around you.

Ultimate adds Intelli-Drive 1.0, bringing blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and additional lane-positioning support. That means more awareness when changing lanes at motorway speeds and when reversing out of a space in a busy car park. It supports the driver; it does not drive the car.

Ultimate also carries Intelli-Lux HD lighting, with more than 50,000 elements shaping the beam around other road users. You get better forward illumination on unlit roads while oncoming drivers are shielded from glare.

Sharper by design

The design of the new Vauxhall Astra Sports Tourer is clearly identified by the illuminated Griffin badge, the illuminated Compass graphic and the distinctive wing-shaped LED daytime lights, which give the facelifted car a crisper, more technical visual signature.

The car also has a carbon black roof and black mirrors for added definition and electric-exclusive 18-inch diamond-cut Rekord alloys.

The GS trim gets a sport exterior treatment that adds a higher gloss and sport bumper for a stronger sport look to match the trim's aesthetics.

Flexible finance options available on the new Astra Sports Tourer Electric

Buying an electric estate is as much about how you pay for it as which version you pick. Manufacturer-backed finance options are available on the Astra Sports Tourer Electric, with current terms shown against each version so you can see what applies to the one you have in mind.

If you already have a car, part exchange is usually the simplest way to bring the cost down. Our free online valuation gives you a figure for your current vehicle with no obligation, so you know where you stand before you commit to anything.

Our Vauxhall teams can talk you through the differences between the Electric versions, arrange a test drive and set up the next step, whether that is a finance quote or a part exchange appraisal.

Find Your Astra Sports Tourer Electric

Every version of the Astra Sports Tourer Electric gives you the same electric drive and the same estate boot. What changes is the equipment, from the standard car through to GS and Ultimate, with its wider driver assistance and adaptive lighting.
