Hybrid Power for Everyday Driving
The new Toyota Yaris Cross has standardised the Hybrid 130 across the whole range. The 1.5-litre petrol engine powers an electric motor for a self-charging hybrid car, with no plug-in charging required.
The hybrid powertrain is perfect for the stop-start driving of an urban city while still handling longer commutes with ease with just a quick stop for petrol.
An Automatic e-CVT transmission is used across the trims for easy everyday driving with the Excel trim offering AWD-I for extra traction on the road.

Toyota Yaris Cross Practicality & Boot Space
This SUV crossover is built with practicality in mind, offering easier access through urban streets and parking spaces.
With five seats the Yaris Cross supports everyday driving with the family and storage solutions with a 397 litres boot space for shopping bags.
The Yaris Cross has 40:20:40 split-folding rear seats for extra flexibility when needing passengers and extra storage space in the car, with all the seats down the car has 1,097 litres of space for extra loading.

Inside the New Toyota Yaris Cross
The Yaris Cross offers the elevated higher seating you expect on an SUV which helps with outward visibility and everyday driving confidence.
The Design trim adds sports-style front seats and upgrading further to Excel includes a heated steering wheel for cold-weather comfort.
The Excel and GR Sport trims also include a power back door, for added convenience when loading shopping when your hands are full.

Refreshed Yaris Cross Design
The most noticeable change in the new Yaris Cross is the body-coloured honeycomb grille making it more distinguishable on the road, alongside the new-design headlights that have integrated daytime running lights for extra visibility for you and oncoming traffic.
The main design differences between trims are the wheel designs, with the Design trim getting a new 17-inch wheel design and the Excel and GR Sport trim being treated to a new 18-inch wheel design.
The GR Sport trim also features a distinct front bumper treatment to add to the sportier styling of the trim.

Convenient Technology for Everyday Driving
The core multimedia offering in the new Yaris Cross is a nine-inch touchscreen multimedia screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto which features a reversing camera, so no matter what Yaris Cross you get your core infotainment needs are covered.
Upgrading to the Design offers a cleaner feel with wireless charging which reduces cable clutter.
The Excel has a more meaningful technology upgrade with a 12.3-inch HUD display and an upgraded 10.5-inch Toyota Smart Connect multimedia system for a larger central interface.

Safety & Driver Assistance in the Yaris Cross
The Yaris Cross comes with Toyota Safety Sense, a group of driver assistance systems designed to help you monitor the road ahead, hold your lane and manage your speed. In everyday driving, that means extra support in busy traffic and less effort on longer motorway runs, while you stay in control throughout.
Euro NCAP awarded the Yaris Cross four stars in November 2025, based on tests of the Hybrid 130 FWD and AWD-i versions. That gives you a current, independent safety reference for the powertrain used across today's range.
Visibility and parking support build as you move through the range. Every grade has LED headlights with automatic high beam and a reversing camera. Design adds parking sensors and the option of a Safety Pack. Excel includes the Advanced Safety Pack, and GR Sport pairs it with Blind Spot Monitor for extra awareness when changing lanes. Equipment varies by grade and pack, so check the exact specification of the version you're comparing.
Which Toyota Yaris Cross trim should I choose?
Every Yaris Cross uses Hybrid 130 power, so choosing a trim comes down to how much comfort, technology and character you want.

a well-equipped starting point, with 16-inch alloy wheels, a nine-inch multimedia screen, a reversing camera, auto-folding mirrors and LED headlights with automatic high beam.

Design
adds 17-inch alloys, wireless phone charging, parking sensors and sports-style front seats, with an optional Safety Pack. It suits drivers who want more help when parking and a smarter look inside and out.

Excel
steps up to 18-inch alloys, a 12.3-inch instrument display, 10.5-inch Smart Connect multimedia, a powered tailgate, a heated steering wheel and the Advanced Safety Pack. It also offers the option of AWD-i all-wheel drive.

Toyota Yaris Cross finance and part exchange
There is more than one way to pay for a new Toyota Yaris Cross, so you can choose the ownership route that suits your monthly budget and plans.
Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) defers part of the car's value to an optional final payment, which keeps monthly payments down. At the end, you can make that payment and keep the car, return it, or put any equity towards your next car.
Hire Purchase (HP) spreads the full cost across fixed monthly payments, and the car is yours once the last payment is made.
Part exchange lets you put the value of your current car towards your Yaris Cross, subject to a free valuation and the finance route you choose.
