The new Nissan Qashqai is a five-seat, mild hybrid petrol SUV designed to manage the daily errands of everyday life as well as the long weekend adventures.
This car has the choice of both the familiar six-speed manual or Xtronic automatic which means you can get in and drive without the need for a gearbox or clutch pedal.
With wide opening rear doors for child seats, flexible luggage space with rear folded seats, and easy-to-use phone connection creates an adaptable family SUV for every drive.
There are five trims to choose from: Acenta Premium, N-Connecta, N-Design, Tekna, and Tekna+, all with meaningful upgrades in comfort, technology, and practicality.

Manual or Xtronic Automatic: Which Suits Your Driving?
With two transmissions to choose from, the new Nissan Qashqai offers the choice of familiarity or busy city convenience.
Manual
The six-speed manual is available in every Qashqai model except the Tekna+ and may be the choice for drivers that enjoy the familiarity of manually selecting gears better suited when mixed commutes and longer drives are more common
Xtronic Automatic
Xtronic is Nissan’s name for its continuously variable transmission (CVT). The driver just needs to put the car to drive, and the car will continually adjust the gears automatically as you drive. A great choice for drivers that regularly drive in stop-start traffic as it can adjust to your driving taking the work out of slowing down and accelerating.

Petrol Power with Mild-Hybrid Assistance
The new Nissan Qashqai is powered by a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a small 12V battery that can store energy recovered during driving, offering lower fuel consumption without the need to plug in.
The Nissan Qashqai reaches 0-62mph in 9.2secs with the automatic and 9.5secs in the manual so overtaking and merging onto the motorway is easy to handle.
The petrol engine gives this SUV some pulling power, with the Xtronic Automatic having a maximum braked towing of 1,830kg and the manual carrying 1,680kg, suitable for a small caravan or trailer. Check the suitability of what you are towing before committing.
Space for Child Seats, Shopping & Trips Away
The rear doors in the Qashqai open to 85-degrees and have two rear ISOFIX mounting positions so getting a car seat in the car and safely securing it has been made easier for parents using the car every day.
The boot size varies between 455-504 litres which is enough space for daily luggage but if your boot is usually full its worth taking this into consideration with the Acenta Premium offering the largest boot size.
The 60/40 split rear bench gives you flexibility when needing extra luggage and rear passengers on the same drive with the Qashqai having between 1,379-1,447 litres with all the seats down for when you need extra for suitable flatpack furniture.

A Cabin that Works for Everyone on Board
Frosty mornings are a pain for any early morning drive, which is why the new Qashqai offers heated front seats and steering wheel across every trim (Acenta Premium offers a separate Heat Pack option rather than being available as standard).
The front seats benefit from dual-zone climate control so the temperature can be set to an individual’s preference, great for added comfort on longer drives.
A large glass roof panel is available in the N-Design, Tekna, & Tekna+ (also the N-Connecta when purchasing with the Glass Roof Pack), which lets sunlight in making the cabin seem more spacious on the inside.
The Tekna and Tekna+ also offers convenient technology like the electric driver’s seat with memory so two drivers can adjust the seats to their preference in the driver’s settings and a hands-free powered tailgate that helps when you have your hands full.

Screens, Maps & Entertainment Made Useful
The new Qashqai centres around the 12.3-inch centre touchscreen which can be connected wirelessly to mirror your phones apps through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Then another 12.3-inch driver display screen behind the steering wheel which conveniently shows driving data such as speed and journey information in an easy-to-view location.
In the N-Connecta and up the Qashqai has Google Built-in, so maps and Google assistance is available without needing to connect a phone. These models also offer wireless charging and rear USB-C ports for extra charging convenience for front and rear occupants.
The Tekna+ offers a premium Bose 10-speaker sound system including a subwoofer for crisp, lower-frequency sounds. (Also available as an add-on in the Tekna model.)

Every Qashqai has a rear-view camera, rear parking sensors and rear automatic emergency braking, which can apply the brakes if it detects an obstacle while you reverse. From N-Connecta onwards, front sensors and the 3D Around View Monitor add an overhead view of the car, while Invisible Hood View shows the ground just ahead of the bonnet. Together they make kerbs, walls and tight school drop-offs easier to judge.
Support on busy local roads
Intelligent Emergency Braking with Junction Assist watches for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists ahead, including when turning at junctions. It can warn you or apply the brakes if it detects a risk of collision, adding support around school streets and town centres.
