Charging your new IONIQ 3

When it comes to charging new Hyundai IONIQ 3 cars, you have multiple options.

Whether it’s mid-journey and you’re topping up at a public charging point, or from the comfort of your own home, EV charging has never been so simple.

Home Charging

You have multiple options when it comes to charging at home, both catering to a specific audience.

Install a personal wall box for a quicker and simpler experience, or utilise a wall socket for a longer overnight charge.

Topping up at home is simpler too, as you have the convenience of deciding where to park and the time to do it, with this being the most cost-effective option.

Rapid Charging

Recharge on the go and mid-journey via public charging stations.

Standard charging stations are becoming more available throughout the country as the UK expands its EV charging network.

Utilising a high-powered DC charger, you can regain from 10%-80% of charge in around 30 minutes, meaning more time on the road.

Smarter Charging

Planning a trip? Utilise the resources available to you to create a journey that suits you and your IONIQ 3.

Plug & Charge simplifies public charging by automating authentication and billing, streamlining the process.

Not only that, but you can plan your journey via the integrated EV route planner, making sure you have places to charge, and keeping range anxiety down.

Art of Steel

Introducing the new Art of Steel design language, the new Hyundai IONIQ 3 truly is a stand-out model within the range.

Taking inspiration from the raw tension and purity that is found in steel, this EV has a strong, precise, and unique visual character, one that reflects steel itself.

This distinct ideology leads to a sculpted shape and design which isn't overly complicated, but instead shapes the way the car interacts with the world around it.

Together, these elements provide the IONIQ 3 with a design identity that feels both modern and unique, no matter the angle.

Aero Hatch

Bringing together sleek proportions with aerodynamic efficiency, the new IONIQ 3 is carefully shaped to maintain a focus on efficiency, without sacrificing space or practicality.

The low, streamlined front end flows perfectly into the sleek roofline, before descending towards the rear spoiler.

Targeting a drag coefficient of approximately 0.263, it not only looks good, but leads to elevated aerodynamics.

Unique Identity

Providing a truly unique look, this EV combines the Art of Steel surfaces and Aero Hatch silhouette with a range of distinct details.

At the front and rear, you get signature Pixel lighting, with them being joined by four central dots, referencing the letter H in Morse code.

The spoiler and vertical tailgate help give a sporty finish, shaping the rear profile. Customise your EV with the choice of three alloy wheels and eight distinct colours.

IONIQ 3 Interior & Practicality

The Hyundai IONIQ 3 is designed around offering the practicality of a larger car, whilst keeping a compact exterior footprint.

A five-seat interior provides a comfortable and spacious experience, branded as a “Furnished Space” by Hyundai. This works perfectly due to the long wheelbase, giving you generous headroom and legroom.

As standard, 322 litres of boot space is available to accommodate your shopping, luggage, and whatever you need to bring along. The boot design makes loading up easier, alongside a host of in-cabin storage for those extra items.

At the front, an open centre console gives you a large space for quick access to items, with the underfloor Mega box giving you 119 litres of under-boot storage, giving you a total boot space of 441 litres.

This all leads to a practical and spacious interior, helping make the IONIQ 3 practical for both everyday journeys and longer trips.

Technology of the New Hyundai IONIQ 3

Being the first European Hyundai model to introduce Pleos Connect, the IONIQ 3 is paving the way for a new generation of in-car infotainment.

Based on Android Automotive OS, the new system brings navigation, vehicle controls, connectivity, and customisation all in one place, utilising the central display. This ranges from a 12.9-inch display to a 14.6-inch one, depending on your selected configuration.

Updating how drivers receive information, Hyundai has put the drivers display above the steering wheel on select trims, keeping your eyes and all the vital information closer to the road.

Supporting Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, compatible electrical devices can be powered from the IONIQ 3 via the interior or exterior connections on select trims. This makes the vehicle more than just a mode of transport, but letting you power your devices when away from home.

You also get the Hyundai Digital Key 2, letting you use your smartphone or watch as a key to enter, alongside sharing access with family members.

New Hyundai IONIQ 3 Safety

Bringing together an array of driver assist systems, the Hyundai SmartSense safety suite is designed to help identify potential hazards and support you on every drive.

Whether you’re changing lanes or reversing, features such as Forward and Blind Spot Collision Avoidance provide you a clear view of the areas around your vehicle and monitor hazards.

Parking and manoeuvring can be made easier via the N Line Evo trim, with Surround View Monitor, Remote Smart Parking Assist, and the Reverse Assist systems.

Alongside its active safety systems, the IONIQ 3 is equipped with seven airbags as standard, providing additional layers of protection.

From assisting you on longer journeys and parking, to keeping you aware of your surroundings, the new Hyundai IONIQ 3 can help you drive with confidence.
