Ford BlueCruise is a hands-free driving assistance system for use on approved motorways (“Blue Zones”). It lets you take your hands off the wheel while keeping your eyes on the road.
It controls steering, acceleration, and braking using cameras, radar, and mapped road data. The aim is to make long drives easier and less stressful, while still requiring your full attention.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Driver-Facing Camera
Ford BlueCruise uses a driver-facing camera to monitor your gaze and head position, ensuring you stay focused on the road. If your attention drops, the system alerts you to re-engage.
Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control
The system combines adaptive cruise control with speed sign recognition to adjust speed automatically, helping maintain safe distances and match changing limits.
Lane Centering
Ford BlueCruise uses lane centering technology to keep your vehicle positioned between lane markings, maintaining smooth and controlled steering on compatible roads.
BLUE ZONE MOTORWAYS
Over 95% of the country's motorways are Ford Blue Zones, where BlueCruise can be activated when you enter.
With automatic updates, your vehicle can access more Blue Zones as routes are added and expanded over time.
