The All-Electric Toyota bZ4X Touring builds on the original All-Electric Toyota bZ4X, adding more space, power, and practicality.

Designed for modern families and everyday explorers, this all-electric SUV blends refinement with practicality. It’s ready for both daily life and weekend adventures.

Set to launch in the UK in Spring 2026, the Toyota bZ4X Touring marks a significant step forward in the all-electric journey.

Toyota bZ4X Touring Design

Design for Real Life

Longer, taller and more spacious, the bZ4X Touring delivers a new level of practicality. It unlocks around 600 litres of boot space, roughly one-third more than the standard model.

The 40/60 split-folding rear seats allow flexible passenger and cargo arrangements, ideal for both everyday errands and family road trips.

The design feels muscular and purposeful, with grained-black wheel arches, black-finished alloy wheels and durable roof rails capable of carrying up to 70kg. At the rear, a sculpted bumper and LED taillights give the bZ4X Touring a confident stance.

Inside, the cabin features a redesigned centre console and instrument panel, finished with the new “City Moss” upholstery option for a stylish and modern feel.

Technology That Thinks Ahead

At the centre of the cabin, a 14-inch multimedia display integrates the latest infotainment system from Toyota. Navigation routes include charging stops and battery range, keeping you connected and informed throughout your journey.

Underneath, new eAxle technology combines the motor, gearbox and inverter to improve efficiency and responsiveness. The system uses advanced silicon-carbide semiconductors to reduce energy loss and maximise performance.

A thermal management and pre-conditioning system ensures the 74.7kWh battery performs efficiently in any climate, delivering reliable range and power all year round.

Safety You Can Rely On

True to its reputation, the Toyota bZ4X Touring makes safety a priority. Its reinforced platform protects both occupants and battery components, while driver-assist systems (part of the Toyota Safety Sense package) offer reassurance on every journey.

Features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Trace Assist and Pre-Collision alerts, all designed to support safe and confident driving in any condition.

The bZ4X Touring also benefits from a long-term Battery Care Programme, providing up to ten years of coverage (subject to annual inspection). It’s designed to give lasting peace of mind, wherever your adventures take you.

Performance That Powers Adventure

The bZ4X Touring offers a choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive configurations, both powered by a high-capacity 74.7kWh battery.

The FWD model delivers around 221bhp for smooth and efficient driving, while the AWD version increases output to 376bhp, making it the most powerful Toyota BEV yet.

Fast-charging capability of up to 150kW enables quick top-ups on the go. With a towing capacity of 1,500kg, it’s ready for trailers, caravans or bikes. Agile, confident and capable, the bZ4X Touring shows that electric performance can be both practical and inspiring.
