Stoneacre Motor Group’s Managing Director, Shaun Foweather, has joined the Automotive 30% Club as a Silver Member in order to bring more diversity and equality to the automotive industry and company.
The Automotive 30% Club is a voluntary network of automotive leaders working to improve gender balance across the industry. Its goal is for women to hold 30% of key leadership roles by 2030.
Managing Director Shaun Foweather has joined the club, committing to a more inclusive workplace for women at Stoneacre Motor Group.
Shaun believes outdated gender roles must change and the industry should promote equal opportunities. Stoneacre leaders now hold quarterly ‘Women in the Motor Trade’ meetings with female team members. These sessions create clear pathways for women to progress into senior roles and build a more balanced workplace.

Speaking on the matter, Shaun Foweather stated:
“As a company, Stoneacre has high ambitions to increase the many upper management roles that we are providing for the women in our business. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive and diverse company but understand that achieving equality for women in the automotive industry as a whole is still ongoing. We are proud to be joining the 30% Automotive Club as we make headway on realising these ambitions for our female leaders.”
Despite recent challenges, society has made significant progress in championing these important movements. Women have always shaped the automotive sector, as highlighted in our ‘10 Influential Women’ blog.
Shaun noted: “The challenges of the current era do not knock our confidence that real change is achievable.”
Stoneacre recognises female involvement in decision-making as crucial to business growth. Over five years, we aim to support more women into senior management and develop female leaders at board level.
We also promote flexible and hybrid working where possible. This supports better work-life balance and creates greater flexibility for women pursuing automotive careers.
By joining the Automotive 30% Club, Stoneacre can learn, grow and provide women with equal opportunities to build successful careers.
