A new name has recently joined the UK automotive market, and the team at Stoneacre Northallerton is excited to be among the first to introduce it to local customers. LEPAS has recently launched in the UK, bringing a fresh premium offering to the market with a focus on distinctive design, advanced technology, comfort and electrified driving. As part of the wider Chery Group, LEPAS joins an established family of automotive brands that includes Chery, OMODA and JAECOO.

At Stoneacre Northallerton, the arrival of LEPAS has been met with plenty of enthusiasm. Behind the new franchise is a team with years of experience in the motor industry, all looking forward to introducing customers to what LEPAS has to offer.

Bringing experience to a brand-new opportunity

Leading the team is Andrew Mellanby, Sales Manager, who has spent more than 35 years working in the motor trade.

Having worked with a variety of manufacturers throughout his career, predominantly within the Korean automotive market, Andrew has experienced plenty of change within the industry. Joining LEPAS gives him the opportunity to be part of something new from the outset.

“There’s a fantastic range of vehicles coming through, and we’re only at the beginning of the LEPAS journey in the UK.”

One of the first models to arrive is the LEPAS L8, a plug-in hybrid SUV that combines distinctive styling with a focus on comfort, technology and refinement.

Andrew is particularly impressed by what the model brings to the market.

“The L8 is a great introduction to the brand. It’s really well equipped, and there’s clearly a lot of thought and refinement that has gone into it.”

A strong foundation for growth

For Daniel Adams, Sales Executive, one of the most appealing aspects of LEPAS is its place within the wider Chery Group.

Having spent four years in the motor industry and worked with a range of manufacturers, Daniel has seen the progress made by Chery, OMODA and JAECOO in the UK. He believes that experience creates a strong foundation for LEPAS as it establishes itself here.

“What initially attracted me to LEPAS was seeing how well the other brands within the Chery Group have been doing in the UK.

“With OMODA and JAECOO performing so strongly, it’s really exciting to now see LEPAS launch as the premium brand within the group.”

For Daniel, that potential is one of the most exciting parts of joining the team.

“It’s a very exciting brand to be part of, and I’m really looking forward to seeing where it goes.”

Designed to make an impression

With almost 12 years of experience in the motor industry, Sean, Sales Executive, has also welcomed the opportunity to be involved with LEPAS from its UK launch.

For Sean, it is the attention to detail and refinement of the vehicles that stand out.

“A lot of refinement has gone into the cars, and I think customers are going to be really impressed.

“It’s going to be great to be part of that journey from the beginning and see how the brand develops in the UK.”

The LEPAS approach centres around creating vehicles that combine premium styling, modern technology and electrified powertrains, offering customers a fresh choice within the competitive SUV market.

Looking ahead with LEPAS

With LEPAS now launched in the UK, the team at Stoneacre Northallerton is ready to help customers discover what the new brand has to offer.

For Andrew, Daniel and Sean, being involved at the beginning of the brand’s UK journey makes the opportunity particularly exciting. Their combined experience provides customers with an established and knowledgeable team, while LEPAS itself offers the chance to be part of something new.

As Andrew puts it, the name LEPAS brings together “Leopard and Passion” – a fitting description for a brand looking to make its mark in the UK.

LEPAS has arrived, and Stoneacre Northallerton is ready to welcome you to the next generation of premium motoring.
