Stoneacre Motor Group has promoted long-time team member Kelly Scott to Service Manager at its Vauxhall Blackburn site. This key promotion highlights Stoneacre’s ongoing commitment to its Silver Membership with the Automotive 30% Club.
Managing Director Shaun Foweather joined the club earlier this year to drive equal opportunity across all branches. The organisation aims to achieve a stronger gender balance industry-wide, targeting at least 30% female representation in key leadership roles by 2030.
Empowering Women at Stoneacre
These goals inspired Stoneacre’s leadership to launch quarterly ‘Women in the Motor Trade’ meetings. These sessions connect key female staff with senior executives to shape strategy. Together, they develop action plans to help women progress into leadership roles across the group.
Kelly Scott Steps Up
Putting these intentions into action, Stoneacre is delighted to announce Kelly Scott as the new Service Manager for Blackburn.
Kelly joined Stoneacre in 2010 as a 16-year-old Apprentice Service Advisor. Over 12 years of dedicated service, she steadily worked her way up through the aftersales department.
Excellence Through Training
Kelly recently graduated as a qualified Service Manager from The Performance Academy. This accredited programme is run by Stellantis, the global automotive group behind Peugeot, Vauxhall, and Fiat.
The online apprenticeship delivers high-quality professional training. It equips candidates with the core competencies and brand skills needed to achieve ambitious career goals.
Having qualified while based at Stoneacre’s Peugeot Wigan branch, Kelly now takes the next step in her career at Vauxhall Blackburn.
Recognising Internal Talent
Gerry George, Aftersales Director for Stoneacre, praised the appointment:
“Kelly is a fine example of the Stoneacre philosophy of recognising and nurturing talent with our focus on promoting from within. I would like to congratulate Kelly on her recent achievement, and I am sure that she will continue to be an asset to the group.”
The entire team looks forward to seeing Kelly thrive in her new role and wishes her continued success.
