LEPAS has a big announcement. The L6 EV is here. It’s the brand’s first all-electric SUV.
The L6 EV joins the LEPAS L8 PHEV. Together, they mark a new chapter for LEPAS in the UK.
So what makes the L6 EV special? Let’s take a closer look.
What Is the LEPAS L6 EV?
The L6 EV is a C-segment SUV. It’s fully electric. It’s designed for modern urban life. Think easy city driving. Think comfortable long trips. The L6 EV is built to do both well.
It sits on LEPAS’ new LEX Platform. The dedicated electric architecture has been engineered around three things: intelligence, efficiency, and safety.
The LEPAS European chassis team has fine-tuned the L6 EV for UK and European roads. The goal was smooth power delivery plus comfortable, predictable handling.
Battery, Range and Charging
Let’s talk numbers first. They’re the questions everyone asks.
The L6 EV uses a 65kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. This pairs with a front-mounted electric motor. The motor produces 160kW, or 217PS. Torque comes in at 275Nm.
That’s enough for 0–62mph in 7.9secs. Top speed is 111mph.
Range is where the L6 EV really shines. It offers up to 279 miles on the WLTP cycle. That’s plenty for daily commutes and weekend getaways.
Need a top-up? The L6 EV supports 120kW DC rapid charging. That means a 30–80% charge in around 22mins. Quick enough for a coffee break.
Under the skin, a 12-in-1 electric drive system keeps things efficient. Electric power steering and an electric brake booster come as standard. Bosch IBP 2.0 braking technology improves pedal feel. It also improves energy recovery.
Design: Leopard Aesthetics in Action
LEPAS calls its design language “Leopard Aesthetics.” The L6 EV shows exactly why.
The shape is clean and flows. Every detail nods to a leopard in motion – confident, agile, elegant.
Signature “Hunting Eye” LED headlights lead the way at the front. A wide-body profile echoes a leopard’s stride. Distinctive LED rear lighting finishes the look.
In terms of size, the L6 EV measures 4,570mm long and 1,852mm wide (excluding mirrors). It stands 1,676mm tall.
The wheelbase runs to 2,700mm, which helps free up cabin space. Ground clearance sits at 159mm, useful for everyday versatility.
Both trims get 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. LED headlights come with Intelligent High Beam Assist. Heated, power-folding door mirrors with puddle lights are standard too.
Colour-wise, Lucid White is included at no extra cost. Five pearlescent shades are available for £500 each: Phantom Grey, Cosmic Black, Quicksilver, Solar Orange, and Supernova Purple.
Step Inside The LEPAS L6 EV
Open the door, and the L6 EV feels different. It feels calm and intuitive.
A wrap-around cockpit puts the driver at the centre of everything. The star of the dashboard is a 13.2-inch waterfall-style touchscreen. It gives the cabin a clean, minimalist feel.
A large panoramic sunroof floods the interior with natural light.
Thanks to the LEX Platform, the rear floor is completely flat. That means more legroom. That means more comfort for rear passengers.
Boot space is generous too. You get 410 litres with the seats up. Fold them down and that grows to 1,334 litres. There are also 99 litres of hidden underfloor storage – perfect for charging cables, shopping, or muddy boots.
Standard kit across both trims includes a panoramic sunroof with electric sunshade and dual-zone climate control. As well as rear air vents and a heated multifunction steering wheel.
A heated windscreen, keyless entry and go, and 40/60 split-folding rear seats all come as standard as well.
Which Trim Is Right for You?
LEPAS offers two trims on the L6 EV: Essence and Elevate.
Essence is generously equipped from the start. It includes Basalt Black fabric upholstery and six-way manually adjustable front seats. This is on top of all the core technology and safety features.
Elevate takes things further. It swaps in full leather-effect upholstery. Front seats gain six-way power adjustment, with four-way power lumbar support for the driver.
Heated and ventilated front seats come as standard. As well as a power tailgate, a Nano-Aqua Ion Air Purification System, and 256-colour ambient lighting.
Safety You Can Trust
Safety sits at the core of the LEPAS L6 EV. It’s been developed in line with 2026 Euro NCAP testing protocols.
Both trims include 22 advanced driver assistance functions. These features cover the basics. They include Autonomous Emergency Braking and Forward Collision Warning. Plus, Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist, Emergency Lane Keeping and Blind Spot Detection.
Traffic Jam Assist is standard too. Plus, Rear Traffic Cross Alert and Rear Traffic Cross Braking. Rear Collision Warning, Door Open Warning, Intelligent Speed Limit Control, and Front Distance Monitoring round out the package.
Parking is easy as well. Front and rear parking sensors come as standard, alongside a 540° panoramic camera. Choose Elevate, and you’ll also get Advanced Parking Assist and Remote Parking Assist. Handy for tight city spaces.
Smart, Connected Technology
The L6 EV is a genuinely smart car.
Both trims feature a 13.2-inch central touchscreen and an 8.88-inch Retina LCD driver display. A Qualcomm 8155 processor powers it all, keeping the infotainment sharp and responsive.
Say hello to “Hello LEPAS”, the car’s AI-powered voice assistant. It lets drivers control key functions hands-free, keeping distractions to a minimum.
Charging your phone is easy. There’s 50W wireless charging with active cooling, plus USB-C ports up front and USB-A/USB-C ports for rear passengers.
Essence comes with a six-speaker audio system. Elevate upgrades this to a SONY premium eight-speaker setup.
One standout feature: 3.3kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability. This lets you use the L6 EV’s battery to power external equipment. Think camping trips. Think outdoor events. Think emergency power at home.
