Arguably one of the most ambitious manufacturers there is, Volvo is no stranger to setting big targets for itself as a car maker.
With electrification, that's no different. The Swedish marque is looking to reduce its carbon footprint by 40% by 2025 compared ot that of 2018 - then to be carbon neutral by 2040.
The first step towards achieving such targets has been to add electrification to each model, something Volvo is very close to having completed, with many hybrid options across its range.
Secondly, but certainly not least, Volvo has produced its first all-electric car in the form of the XC40 Recharge. The compact SUV offers circa 250 miles on a full charge and a rapid charge takes it to 80% in just 40 minutes.
