Zero Emissions
By choosing a Polestar electric vehicle (EV), you are actively contributing to cleaner air and a more sustainable future. Polestar cars produce zero emissions, so you may also be exempt from congestion charges.

Electric Driving Range
Polestar electric cars provide an impressive driving range, with selected models capable of covering over 300 miles on a single charge. You can easily plan charging to suit your lifestyle, whether that’s at home, at work or on the road.

Lower Operating Costs
Designed with performance in mind, Polestar cars have fewer moving parts than conventional engines, making maintenance simpler and often less costly. There are no oil changes, no spark plugs, and fewer serviceable components.

Polestar electric vehicles drive much like conventional cars, but instead of an engine, you’ll find a rechargeable battery and an electric motor. With Standard and Long Range batteries, Polestar provides instant torque and high-performance capabilities.
Rather than refuelling, you can conveniently charge your Polestar at home or at a public charging station. Its regenerative braking system recovers energy during braking or deceleration, helping to maximise efficiency and extend your driving range.
Whether it’s the dynamic Polestar 2, the spacious Polestar 3, or the sleek new Polestar 4, there’s a model to suit your style. Each Polestar combines distinctive Scandinavian design with cutting-edge technology for an engaging driving experience.

There are several ways to charge your Polestar electric car. You can charge at home, on the go at public charging stations, or make use of Polestar’s remote charging.
Charging at Home
One of the most convenient ways to charge your Polestar is at home. Simply plug in overnight and you’ll be ready to go in the morning. Use the Polestar app to schedule charging at a time that suits you and take advantage of cheaper energy tariffs.
Charging at a Public Charging Station
With automatic charging reminders, you’ll never miss a chance to charge. There are many public charging stations across the country, and when you select a location, your car optimises battery temperature for faster charging, whether heating or cooling it.

Polestar Charge gives you access to one of Europe’s largest public charging networks, with over 1 million charge points across 30 countries and more than 68,000 in the UK. With one contract, one card and one app, charging on the go is seamless whether you are in the city or travelling across Europe.
With a Polestar Charge subscription, you benefit from fixed pricing and up to 30% discounts at selected stations. Activate your charging card or use the Polestar app to start charging easily. It is a simple and stress-free service designed for everyday use.
Find charge points directly through your car’s Google Maps or in the Polestar app, where you can view availability, filter by speed and track your costs in real time. Drivers of Polestar 2 (2026 Model Year) and Polestar 3 can also enjoy Plug & Charge functionality and plug in to start charging automatically.

Polestar electric cars come with an 8-year or 100,000-mile battery warranty, whichever comes first. If the battery’s State of Health (SoH) falls below 70% during this time, Polestar will replace it free of charge. This applies to both new and pre-owned Polestar cars, with the pre-owned programme including a full battery health check.
Polestar’s Battery Management System (BMS) monitors the battery’s condition, charge, and performance. It ensures safe charging, balances cells, and protects against extreme temperatures to maximise lifespan and maintain performance.
Recognising that batteries are among the most carbon-intensive parts of electric cars, Polestar is deeply committed to sustainability. The company focuses on circular battery production by refurbishing batteries for reuse and recycling materials responsibly, helping to reduce environmental impact.
