Best Company Car: Hyundai Ioniq 6

This electric saloon went on sale in November 2022 and was set to be a popular choice with eco-conscious drivers. Built on Hyundai’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the Ioniq 6 is equipped with an array of advanced technologies as well as a driver-centric, spacious interior.

In terms of company car potential, the vehicle boasts an aerodynamic driving experience, speedy charging capabilities, and a range of up to 382 miles – perfect for those who commute around the country. Additionally, the appealing 2% benefit in kind (BIK) rates add to its allure.

Best Fun Car: Honda Civic Type R

The 2023 Honda Civic Type R is an upcoming high-performance version of the popular Honda Civic. The new Type R is expected to be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

Additionally, the Type R will also feature a sport-tuned suspension, larger brakes, and a more aggressive exterior design than the standard Civic. Best Small Car: Jeep Avenger

Up next on the winner list is the Jeep Avenger. Jeep’s latest baby SUV is their smallest yet (4.08 metres long), boasting a contemporary and streamlined exterior. Although it still bears Jeep’s iconic seven-slot grille, the grille has been redesigned to achieve a more aerodynamic look.

The Stellantis-manufactured 54kWh electric battery, combined with 192lb ft motors (depending on the variant), provides the Jeep Avenger with ample power for city driving, as the vehicle is intended. Despite the seemingly modest specs, Jeep has designed the Avenger to be efficient and effective for urban use.

Best Family Car: Dacia Jogger

Dacia released the seven-seater Jogger in 2022, with an electric version for 2023. The Dacia Jogger shares the same CMF-B platform as its siblings, the Sandero and Sandero Stepway. However, with a length of 4547mm, the new model is noticeably larger, allowing for additional passenger seats in the rear.

As one of Dacia’s biggest models, it promises to offer ample space for passengers and their belongings – perfect for larger families.

Best Budget Car: Dacia Sandero

Dacia made a second award with the Sandero, a popular supermini car known for its affordability and practicality. The Sandero is a budget-friendly option for those in need of a reliable vehicle.

Despite its low price, the Sandero offers a decent level of standard features, including a 6.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and Bluetooth connectivity. The latest model is available with petrol and diesel engines, as well as a bi-fuel option that runs on petrol and LPG. With its spacious cabin, comfortable ride, and low running costs, the Dacia Sandero is a practical choice for those on a tight budget.
