CUPRA, the challenger car brand, has officially unveiled the all-new CUPRA Raval. Sitting as the newest addition to the growing EV lineup of the brand, the rebellious CUPRA Raval is designed to challenge convention, push the boundaries, and form an emotional connection with the driver. This is not just another electric city car; it is a statement of intent from a brand that refuses to play by the rules.

A Striking Design Built for the Modern City
The striking design of the CUPRA Raval makes it one of the most stylish city cars on the market, and it boasts a performance to match. With its sharp lines, aggressive stance, and the signature copper accents that define the brand, the Raval stands out in a crowded urban landscape. It is compact enough to navigate tight city streets while maintaining a presence that demands attention.
Arriving in the UK this summer, the Raval will be available in four distinct trims: Origin, V1, V2, and VZ. Each model is built on the advanced new MEB+ platform, which has been specifically engineered to offer better efficiency and more interior space than traditional petrol equivalents.
Power, Range, and Rapid Charging
The Raval offers a range of battery and power configurations to suit different driving needs. Whether you are looking for an efficient commuter or a high-performance hatch, there is a version of the Raval for you.
The base model, Origin, comes equipped with a 37kWh battery with a power output of 113 bhp. The V1 and V2 trims will be available with a choice of 37kWh or 52kWh battery options. The larger battery option is particularly impressive, boasting a range of around 280 miles and a charge time of just 23 minutes to go from 10% to 80% when using a rapid charger. This ensures that even on longer journeys, your downtime is kept to a minimum.
For those seeking the pinnacle of performance, the CUPRA Raval VZ is the clear choice. Available exclusively with the 52kWh battery, it delivers a punchy 222 bhp and a range of around 250 miles. To ensure this power is translated to the road effectively, the VZ comes equipped with a suite of performance features, including an electronic limited slip differential and Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC), which allows the driver to adjust the suspension on the fly.

An Interior Focused on the Driver Experience
The CUPRA Raval has driver experience built right into its very heart. Stepping inside reveals a cabin that blends sustainable materials with cutting-edge technology. The cockpit features an all-new integrated digital instrument cluster, including a 10.25-inch digital cockpit and a 12.9-inch infotainment system. This setup allows the driver to control all of the parameters of the Raval from one centralised, easy-to-use interface.
Furthermore, the Raval features a redesigned steering wheel. Unlike many modern EVs that rely solely on touch-sensitive pads, CUPRA has opted for physical buttons and satellite buttons for driving modes. It also includes regenerative braking paddles, guaranteeing that every journey is packed with emotion and tactile feedback.

A New Era for Urban Mobility
Marcus Gossen, managing director of SEAT and CUPRA UK, highlighted the importance of this launch: “The CUPRA Raval is the culmination of an immense amount of hard work, dedication, and effort on all fronts. Raval is the pinnacle of all things CUPRA – advanced, forward-thinking, dynamic. It pushes the boundaries in automotive and encourages drivers to form a real emotional connection to the drive itself.”
He continued: “The combination of striking design, electrifying performance and unconventional features reimagines what an urban EV can be for a new generation of drivers. This is a fully electric car designed to redefine urban mobility with CUPRA’s emotional and challenger DNA.”
With its blend of performance, technology, and standout style, the CUPRA Raval is set to be a game-changer when it hits UK roads later this year.
