Used BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer Models
The BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer used car is a step-up in size from the 2 Series Active Tourer MPV, adding an extra row of seats.
However, in order to make its seven-seater car so compact, BMW has moved from its usual rear-wheel drive platform to front-wheel drive. Access to the back of the 2 Series Gran Tourer is aided by large rear doors and a middle row of seats with a rapid tilt and slide mechanism, giving enough room for small children. A power tailgate is standard on all versions, and there are controls in the boot to fold the back seats.
With plenty of under seat storage, a reasonably sized glove box, and plenty of cup holders and door pockets, you will find this smart car more than adequate for larger families.

Once you're behind the wheel, you will be delighted with the layout and quality. As standard, The BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer comes with a high-resolution sat-nav screen and DAB and the build quality is excellent. The dashboard arrangement is simple, with BMW's typical minimalist button labelling. The steering wheel feels solid and sporty, and the iDrive controller makes navigating the dash-top screen's various features a breeze.
LED headlights, 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic, dual-zone air conditioning, cruise control, and Bluetooth connectivity are also standard on the SE model. BMW’s excellent 6.0 infotainment system offers Apple CarPlay connectivity all come as standard.
The 216d diesel engine is the more basic model, while the 220d with four-wheel drive is the most powerful. The 218i and 220i petrol engines, as well as a 218d diesel, are available between the two.
The two more powerful diesels seem to be the most popular, although the less powerful 216d has the best fuel economy and emissions. Across the board, six-speed manual and eight-speed automatic transmissions are available.
