With a new look, new infotainment and a more versatile interior storage, the revamped Citroen C3 Aircross offers everything you need for hassle-free motoring. So if you are looking for a practical yet compact crossover, the facelifted Citroen C3 Aircross is worth considering.
More Dynamic Style
The new-look model is the first overhaul for the Citroen C3 Aircross since its introduction to the market in 2017. A fresh new look creates a more dynamic style to ensure it offers a unique and modern look.
The front end is where the majority of changes are evident. Citroen has revised the lower apron to include a large air intake and sharp looking front bash plate. The distinctive split headlights remain a key feature. However, Citroen has replaced the rounded square lights with thinner rectangular units linked to the front grille.
Citroen is also introducing seven new colours to the extensive selection already available to C3 Aircross buyers. It means there are a total of 70 contrasting body and roof paint schemes to choose from, meaning it is even easier to stand out and express a sense of your personality.
Citroen plans to retain its Colour Packs enabling buyers to add a splash of contrasting colour to the front skid plate, mirrors and rear quarter windows.
On top of that, the new Citroen C3 Aircross features a diamond-cut and gloss black alloy wheel designs available in both 16 and 17-inch sizes.
An Upgraded Interior
Inside, the basic dashboard layout remains the same. However, Citroen will introduce new trim options and three different ‘ambience’ for UK buyers.
The standard model will come with grey cloth upholstery and a soft grey plastic dashboard surfacing. You can step up the trim range to gain an artificial graphite leather upholstery and flecked grey detailing to the dash. Meanwhile, top-spec models will come with real leather upholstery in a distinctive green-grey.
Higher specification models will also feature upgrade technology including a larger and sharper performing nine-inch central touchscreen infotainment. With navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto built-in, it ensures staying connected and up to date on the go is a doddle.
Already known for its impressive versatility, the new look Citroen C3 Aircross gains further practicalities. A larger central console offers more storage space for passengers sitting upfront or in the rear, so everyone gets somewhere to keep their essentials close at hand.
For enhanced safety, the Citroen C3 Aircross will come with core driver assistance technologies. It includes speed sign recognition, automatic emergency braking and automatic high-beam control. However, functions including a head-up-display and top-down style 360-degree parking camera are available as optional extras.
On top of that, you can also specify the C3 Aircross with off-road functions like hill-descent control and grip-control selection, should you wish.
Citroen plans to release the C3 Aircross with the same engine options in the UK, with no electrified option for now.
The PureTech 110 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission kicks off the range with 108bhp. For a bit more oomph, you can opt for the PureTech 130 petrol option with 128bhp and the option of a six-speed automatic gearbox.
However, for some people, diesel remains the best option for their driving habits, and Citroen aims to deliver. Two diesel engines will be available including a 108bhp BlueHDi with six-speed manual and a 118bhp BlueHDi with an automatic transmission.
