Workshop Controller- Wolverhampton

Job Purpose

To manage the process of optimising workshop resources to meet agreed departmental budgets.

Reports to:Aftersales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a safe workshop environment in accordance with HSO requirements.
  • Plan the distribution of work amongst the team taking into account individual skill levels.
  • Analyse and manage the effective use of workshop resources and monitor individual and workshop efficiencies to ensure the companies targets and KPi’s are met.
  • Manage liaison between workshop and service reception on customer vehicle progress.
  • Supporting the Service Manager in day to day duties
  • Carry out quality control in the workshop.
  • Offering exceptional customer service, including maintaining customer relationships
  • Taking care of any customer issues or complaints professionally and timely.

    Has worked within the automotive industry at senior service level. Willing to attend manufacture training. Competent at using ICT, Maths & English.
