Find out more about the New Mitsubishi Outlander & Outlander PHEV

The facelifted version of the New Mitsubishi Outlander is a great looking SUV with Strong road presence and bags of equipment for on and off-road adventures. Available in five or seven-seat form, it’s designed to tackle virtually anything you throw at it.

The New Mitsubishi Outlander’s adventurous feel comes primarily from its chunky styling complete with standout silver roof bars. However, sleek design touches make it the most aerodynamic SUV around.

The confident and powerful 2.2-litre diesel engine features variable valve timing technology, the first for a diesel, making it highly fuel efficient. It achieves up to 53.3mpg whilst emitting just 139g/km of CO2 - hugely impressive for a vehicle of this size.

When it comes to the Outlander PHEV, a combined figure of up to 166mpg and CO2 emissions as low as 41g/km make it no surprise that it's the most popular Outlander. It’s so easy to control the powertrain, and you can achieve up to 33 miles on a single charge using the electric mode only, significantly lowering the cost of your daily commute. What’s more, you’ll get an 80% charge in approximately 30 minutes via its Fast Charge ability.

The new Mitsubishi Outlander’s ride is quiet and refined, and is more than capable of motorway cruising every day and then tackling those twisting B-roads when you’re away on weekend breaks. The steering is well weighted and the ubiquitous 4x4 mode is more than capable of taking you off-road or tackling any adverse terrain like snow and mud. This system is lockable too for maximum grip! The New Mitsubishi Outlander can tow up to two tons, making it an ideal hauler for those with caravans, trailers or horse boxes.

Inside the cabin of the New Mitsubishi Outlander you get a premium feel and plenty of storage both with large door pocket, centre armrest and dashboard compartments. Modern equipment like USB, Climate Control and Cruise Control come as standard, and the controls for these are easy to reach and use whilst driving just like the central infotainment system.

In the back, there is space for three adults plus a further two seats if you opt for the seven-seat configuration which is ideal for families with children. There are also Isofix child seat points in the front passenger seat as well as the three seats in the second row. The boot of the New Mitsubishi Outlander features an impressive 463-litres with the seats in place – this expands to a massive 1602-litres with the second row of seats folded flat. Trips to the hardware shop have never been easier, plus you get a double folding tailgate to make loading a piece of cake.

There’s plentiful safety equipment on board the New Mitsubishi Outlander. You get six airbags and traction control as standard, and there are features like crash prevention, lane departure warning and hill start assist to boost safety too.
