Fiat Hybrid & Electric Vehicles

Fiat has begun its journey into the electrification of its vehicles by offering hybrid versions of two of its most popular models.

Both the 500 and Panda have been given mild hybrid options to increase the efficiency and economy of this city car duo.

Under the bonnet of these hybrid Fiats, you'll find a three-cylinder 1.0-litre petrol engine, which is tied to a 12-volt starter generator and lithium battery.

This is good enough to see CO2 levels deplete by 30%, while fuel economy is can get to over 50mpg.

All-Electric Fiat 500

Fiat is to soon relaunch the 500 as a fully-electric city car - the FCA Group's first EV.

To achieve this, Fiat has paired a 117bhp electric motor with a 42kWh lithium-ion battery pack, giving a total range of up to 199 miles per charge.

As with most EVs, you'll enjoy spritely performance, with the 500e able to do a 0-62mph sprint in just 9.0 seconds, and power is felt from the off.
