To celebrate its unprecedented success, Mazda has released a special edition 30th anniversary MX-5 model.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First introduced in 1989 at the Chicago motor show, it was fitting Mazda chose the same location to reveal their celebratory special edition MX-5 model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stoneacre.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/83830_1f1a9b0dfafd4401be9be29068dfdbc6_1563290509.jpeg\" alt=\"Mazda MX-5 models\n\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The original MX-5 was a lightweight two-seater sports car with near-perfect 50:50 weight distribution, agile handling and a specially tuned engine. It was the perfect car for motoring enthusiasts who craved a modern-era roadster which evoked the traditional wind-in-the-hair driving of the classic British sports car.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MX-5 has continued to deliver this class-leading performance ever since and is the go-to fun-to-drive roadster.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Mazda MX-5 Special Edition<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Distinctively different the special edition Mazda MX-5 is sure to be a hit with driving enthusiasts.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exclusive Racing Orange colour, inspired by the 1989 MX-5 Club racer, has instant appeal. While marking the occasion, the front wing features a 30th-anniversary badge displaying the model\u2019s serial number on the driver\u2019s side. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stoneacre.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/83830_452c772f5b7d487598dc7644fca025e0_1563290554.jpeg\" alt=\"Mazda MX-5 30th-anniversary badge\n\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The striking 17\u201d ten-spoke aluminium Rays alloy wheels ensure a more dynamic stance. Plus in a first for any Mazda sold in the UK, the special edition model features 15\u201d Brembo front brakes and smart body-coloured callipers. While to further increase its iconic handling it rides on sporty Bilstein dampers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the bonnet is Mazda\u2019s rapid 181bhp 2.0-litre Skyactiv-G petrol unit which is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inside the bespoke ambience continues with orange accents on the seats, door trim, dashboard, steering wheel, air vents and gear lever.
