Instead, the driver\u2019s steering inputs are communicated as electronic signals. These signals are relayed via a steering torque actuator to a steering control actuator located on the front axle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This official technology is known as One Motion Grip. It replaces the traditional steering rack and column with a high-speed digital link. Because the response is electronic, it is incredibly quick and direct. This inspires a sense of confidence that mechanical systems often struggle to match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Safety is, of course, a primary concern. Lexus has ensured that robust safeguards are in place.
