The P12 AWD variant delivers up to 503 miles of WLTP range. This puts the EX60 on par with the long-range diesel vehicles that have dominated European motorways for decades. It’s no longer just about beating other EVs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design is exceptionally aerodynamic, slipping through the air with minimal resistance thanks to a low front profile and sloping roofline. This efficiency is what transforms range from a concern into a comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Budget-conscious buyers have solid options too. The P10 AWD offers up to 410 miles, whilst the rear-wheel-drive P6 delivers up to 385 miles. “With this car, we remove all remaining obstacles for going electric,” says H\u00e5kan Samuelsson, CEO of Volvo Cars.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Ultra-Fast Charging<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Range matters, but so does charging speed. The EX60 supports 400kW fast-charging, which addresses the main frustration with electric vehicles: waiting time. This capability fundamentally changes the long-distance driving experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The P12 variant adds up to 211 miles of range in 10 minutes. That’s roughly the time for a coffee stop and a quick stretch on a motorway journey. It’s fast enough to fit seamlessly into your existing travel routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the time you return to the car, you’ve added enough range to cross several counties. The charging speed means you can plan journeys around your needs, not around charging infrastructure.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Gemini AI Integration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The EX60 uses the “HuginCore” system, developed with NVIDIA and Qualcomm Technologies Inc. The standout feature is Google’s Gemini AI, which handles voice commands differently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead of rigid commands, Gemini understands natural conversation. You can speak normally rather than memorising specific phrases. This makes the system feel more like an assistant than a tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The audio system features 28 Bowers & Wilkins speakers with headrest speakers in all four main seats. It’s the first Volvo to include Apple Music and Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio as standard.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The Volvo EX60 uses the SPA3 platform. This employs advanced manufacturing techniques to create lighter, simpler structures with fewer parts. The result is a carbon footprint comparable to the much smaller Volvo EX30<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This variant sits 20mm higher than the standard EX60. Air suspension can raise it another 20mm for off-road driving, then lower it again at motorway speeds to improve aerodynamics and preserve range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
