Designed to identify and celebrate the finest young apprentices across the UK, these competitions push participants to demonstrate exceptional technical skill, precision, and professional pride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each year, competitors battle it out across four specialist streams \u2014 light vehicle technology, heavy vehicle technology, automotive body repair, and automotive refinishing. This year\u2019s Light Vehicle finalists, including Cade, travelled to Towcester for an immersive masterclass at Pro-Align\u2019s state-of-the-art training centre. It was here that they got a true taste of what awaits them on the national stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Hands-On Learning with Cutting-Edge Tech<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During the masterclass, finalists rotated through a series of real-world tasks designed to mirror competition conditions. The focus? Two of the most essential skills for any modern light vehicle technician: wheel alignment and balancing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Working with industry-leading equipment such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hunter Road Force Elite<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hunter Hawkeye Elite TD<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hunter Auto34R<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Competitors refined their accuracy, sharpened their problem-solving, and put their time-management skills to the test. By the end of the day, each finalist walked away with greater confidence \u2014 and Cade was no exception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The experience not only strengthened his technical ability but also helped set the stage for his performance at the national finals this November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cade\u2019s Journey: From Childhood Curiosity to Competition Finalist<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Cade\u2019s passion for vehicles started long before he joined Stoneacre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><em>\u201cFrom a young age, I\u2019ve always had a deep passion for cars \u2014 how they work, how they\u2019re built, and the technology behind them.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>That early fascination led him into the automotive world, first through hands-on learning and eventually into a full apprenticeship. Now working alongside experienced professionals, Cade says being surrounded by vehicles every day is \u201ca dream come true\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But like any great journey, his hasn\u2019t come without challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the automotive landscape evolving rapidly \u2014 especially with the rise of EVs and advanced diagnostics \u2014 keeping up hasn\u2019t always been easy.
