The purpose of the group is to achieve a better gender balance within the automotive industry and to fill at least 30% of key leader&#8217;s positions in the member organisations with women by 2030. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a step towards offering more equal opportunities into the automotive industry, Shaun Foweather has joined the Automotive 30% Club in a bid to provide an inclusive workplace for women within <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stoneacre.co.uk\/\">Stoneacre Motor Group<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recognising a generation where previous gender perceptions have become archaic, Shaun identified the duty to educate both Stoneacre\u2019s workplace and the industry on becoming more aware of offering equal opportunities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Expressing new goals for the company, the MD and other members from Stoneacre have set up quarterly \u2018Women in the Motor Trade\u2019 meetings with key female members of the team. These meetings intend to discuss and implement plans to expand opportunities for women at Stoneacre to progress into more senior roles &#8211; improving the gender balance in the workplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:30% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stoneacre.co.uk\/blog\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Auto30-Member-Badge-22-Silver-Intext-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"Automotive 30% Club\" class=\"wp-image-10324 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stoneacre.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Auto30-Member-Badge-22-Silver-Intext-1-1.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.stoneacre.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Auto30-Member-Badge-22-Silver-Intext-1-1-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.stoneacre.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Auto30-Member-Badge-22-Silver-Intext-1-1-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Speaking on the matter, Shaun Foweather stated:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>&#8220;As a company, Stoneacre has high ambitions to increase the many upper management roles that we are providing for the women in our business. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive and diverse company but understand that achieving equality for women in the automotive industry as a whole is still ongoing. We are proud to be joining the 30% Automotive Club as we make headway on realising these ambitions for our female leaders.&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>With the many challenges the country and industry has faced over the past few years, societies have changed significantly to make way for these momentous movements. Women have always played a huge part in the industry, as our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stoneacre.co.uk\/blog\/10-influential-women-within-the-motor-industry\">10 Influential Women Blog<\/a> represents the importance of women&#8217;s contributions in the motoring world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commenting on his visions for the automotive industry, Shaun believes \u201cthe new era at present does not knock our confidence that changes can be achievable\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a company, Stoneacre recognises the importance of involving female members in their business with any decision-making processes in order to move forward. Our intention over the next five years is to progress women in higher managerial roles further, in the hope of developing female leaders up to board level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within this development, Stoneacre also continues to encourage, where possible, a more flexible office environment for their teams by offering the abilities for hybrid working.
