The group aims to achieve a better gender balance across the industry, with a specific goal: filling at least 30% of key leadership positions in member organisations with women by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To help drive this change, Managing Director Shaun Foweather has joined the club, committing to creating a more inclusive workplace for women at Stoneacre Motor Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recognising that traditional gender roles are outdated, Shaun believes the industry has a duty to advocate for equal opportunities. To turn this vision into action, Shaun and other Stoneacre leaders have launched quarterly \u2018Women in the Motor Trade\u2019 meetings with key female team members. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive and diverse company but understand that achieving equality for women in the automotive industry as a whole is still ongoing. We are proud to be joining the 30% Automotive Club as we make headway on realising these ambitions for our female leaders.&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the challenges of recent years, society has evolved significantly to champion these vital movements. Women have always played a huge part in the automotive sector, as highlighted in our \u201810 Influential Women\u2019 blog, which celebrates their invaluable contributions to the motoring world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commenting on his vision for the industry, Shaun noted: \u201cThe challenges of the current era do not knock our confidence that real change is achievable.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stoneacre recognises that involving female team members in decision-making is crucial for moving the business forward. Over the next five years, our goal is to support more women into higher managerial roles, with the ultimate aim of developing female leaders up to board level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To support this growth, Stoneacre continues to promote flexibility by offering hybrid working where possible.
