The Vauxhall Combo-e Life is the practical, zero-emission choice for family and fleet buyers looking for versatility.

Vauxhall Combo-e Life

Vauxhall’s Combo-e Life joins a growing number of all-electric models in the MPV segment to bring new possibilities.

The Combo-e will feature a 50kWh lithium-ion battery pack and an electric motor for 134bhp and 260Nm torque, making it capable of 0-62mph in 11.2 seconds. On WLTP testing it has a maximum range of 174 miles, so offers plenty of scope for getting about day-to-day without worrying about running out of power.

It also features two-mode regenerative braking to enable more freedom when driving. In the most powerful ‘B’ mode, the regenerative braking allows you to make the most of the energy lost when slowing down.

Charging made easy

As is quickly becoming the norm, the Vauxhall Combo-e Life is compatible with multiple charging set-ups, to offer the versatility needed to make life at home or further afield a breeze.

As standard, each model comes with a 7.4kWh on-board charger for wallbox charging at home, although you can opt to upgrade the charging cable to a three-phase 11kW charger for slightly quicker charge times should you wish. Alternatively charging through a conventional three-pin plug is also possible, though will take more time.

The Vauxhall Combo-e Life is also compatible with 100kW DC for a full top-up in just 30 minutes, so boosting charge on long journeys really is a doddle.

You can download the MyVauxhall app for even more convenient charging. It allows you to check your charge status even when you are away from your car. But more importantly, for those home charging, you can programme the charging to take advantage of the best electricity rates.

Space that works for you

Vauxhall will offer its new Combo-e Life in two wheelbases and two seating configurations.

The medium model is 4.4 metres long and is available with either five or seven seats. With five seats in place, you still get the benefit of 579-litres of boot space. Plus should you need to, you can quickly increase the capacity by folding down the rear bench for 2,126-litres.

The XL Combo-e Life is slightly longer at 4.75 metres long and comes with seven seats. It offers more load capacity as standard with 850-litres, but with the rear seats folded down, this expands to a whopping 2,693-litres.

Both the five and seven-seat models can tow up to 750kg to increase capacity further, should you need it. Plus as the Combo-e Life comes with trailer stability control, you can tow with complete confidence.

In addition, both variants also come with 60:40 split-folding seats as standard, but you can upgrade to the three-way split-folding bench.

Plus as a truly versatile model, the Combo-e Life benefits from a host of Isofix points, allowing you to accommodate three child seats next to one another on the rear bench.

No compromise to space

The 50kWh battery is made up of 216 cells and 18 modules, all of which are packaged under the floor between the front or rear axles. Not only does this ensure there is no compromise to boot or cabin space, but it also helps improve the vehicle’s stability at faster speeds and when cornering.

More connected commutes

With enhanced technology, you can be sure of a convenient and connected commute in the new Vauxhall Combo-e Life.

Vauxhall’s Multimedia Navi Pro system features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity which can be easily controlled through the eight-inch touchscreen.

You also get the full benefit of Vauxhall Connect, which gives you access to numerous features, including live traffic updates on the move and vehicle information and charge status. Plus in the event of an accident, Vauxhall’s e-call technology automatically alerts the emergency services should you be involved in an accident.

Enhanced ambience

Inside the stylish interior gives everyone space to relax. The option of a panoramic sunroof improves the feeling of space on-board and ensures that when at full capacity people don’t feel crammed in.

Plus a handy overhead storage compartment gives you an additional 36-litres of storage and provides the ideal space to stow away items you need close at hand.

Helping you stay safer

As a car equipped for a busy life, it is hardly surprising the Combo-e Life comes equipped with a vast array of the latest driver-assistance functions. It includes forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, traffic sign recognition and hill descent control.

Meanwhile, for more stable journeys, the Vauxhall Combo-e Life features electronic traction control with settings for snow, mud and sand.

Equipped for everything

Whether you are a business owner looking for a versatile model to transport your crew, or a family-friendly model, the Vauxhall Combo-e Life could be the solution. With emission-free motoring, you also stand to save in running costs while doing your bit for the environment.

The Vauxhall Combo-e Life is due in our Vauxhall Stoneacre showroom this Autumn, so why not get in touch and register your interest and be the first to hear when it lands in our showrooms.
