Britain’s favourite car just got better - a whole lot better. Combining ultra-contemporary styling and advanced technology, the all-new Ford Fiesta is coming this summer.
The new Ford Fiesta has been reimagined and reinvented for its seventh generation and looks to become the most capable supermini on the market. Not only that, but a completely redesigned interior means that this is the most modern Fiesta yet; meanwhile, state-of-the-art safety equipment will give you complete peace of mind.
Not only will the new Fiesta completely raise the bar for the small car arena, but it will also introduce two new trim levels to help reinvent the car into other areas.
There will be six trim levels that will be familiar to most previous and existing Ford drivers, including Zetec, Titanium and the recently introduced ST-Line. However, several additions will ensure the Fiesta is more versatile than ever before.
While the further additions of Titanium X and ST-Line X variants will bring plush and sporting elements to the range, the addition of Vignale and Active trims will offer something completely new for Fiesta buyers.
Those acquainted with the Vignale programme will know that it offers a whole new level of luxury and offers the full package of extras. These include an opening panoramic sunroof, heated leather seats, a reversing camera and rear parking sensors, as well as Vignale styling both externally and internally.
Taking advantage of the SUV boom, the Fiesta Active (out in 2018) stands out with its raised suspension and beefier looks, giving drivers a completely new experience behind the wheel of a Ford Fiesta.
There are several features on the all-new Fiesta that you’ll never have seen on any previous generation of the popular supermini. You’ll find these both inside and outside of the car, while others are in the form of brand new safety features.
Many of these are evident when stepping inside the new Fiesta. While the exterior styling has undergone an evolutionary transformation, the interior changes are on an even bigger level. It is likely that, on the higher trims, you’ll notice first the 8" touchscreen infotainment unit on the centre console.
This works in tandem with the new SYNC 3 system to ensure connectivity and accessibility is at optimum, while Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will be fully compatible. A result of this new technology sees the centre console take on a sleek and less cluttered design, with most features controlled through the new system. B&O PLAY (Bang & Olufsen) is also available and offers a premium in-car audio experience like no other.
Other firsts are can be found among the new driver assistance features, including Active Park Assist, AEB and Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Information System (BLIS).
