Air Conditioning Service & Cleanse
Manufacturers recommend this service is carried out on an annual basis, as over a 12 month period air conditioning systems can lose up to 50% of their efficiency placing the system under added load and reducing fuel consumption. Fungus also builds up in the vehicles ducting system causing ‘stale’ smells in your car and can aggravate medical conditions such as allergies and asthma. Your air conditioning system also filters pollen from the air, as part of our service we check the filters condition to ensure you remain protected from hay fever. Air Conditioning Service & Cleansing works by thoroughly checking and cleansing the system to improve efficiency and also removing the fungal build up. This is an extremely effective treatment and leaves a pleasant odour.
Brake fluid deteriorates over a period of time and absorbs water, reducing braking efficiency, causing seal & pipe deterioration and in extreme circumstances causing brake failure. Manufacturers therefore recommend the replacement of brake fluid at regular intervals. This treatment consists of brake bleeding and a full fluid replacement. Keeping your brake fluid remains at optimum braking efficiency.
When extreme temperatures are near, it is very important to ensure that your vehicle’s antifreeze / summer coolant strength is correct. Changing the antifreeze can make a huge difference on the engines health and correct functioning. Failures in this area can cause serious damage to your engine system and can be extremely expensive to repair.
Roadside Emission Testing legislation is now in full force. This allows random testing on any vehicle, by a Police Officer, to test emissions. If a vehicle is found to have excess prescribed emission levels a Fixed Penalty Notice may be issued.
As your Servicing Dealer we recommend that an Engine Flush and Fuel Treatment are carried out at the same time as your Service. The Engine flush works by clearing all sludge from the engine’s oil ways. A Fuel Treatment is then added, cleaning all fuel injection areas from harmful contamination and the build up of deposits. An added benefit of this treatment is that in most cases it has also been found to improve both fuel consumption and performance.
Do you have abnormal/uneven tyre wear? Tracking can easily be affected by pot holes and mounting the kerb, the end result being uneven tyre wear resulting in the replacement of tyres prematurely (additional expense for you). Have your tracking checked will help avoid this.
